Intensive production in knowledge through the use of new technologies, new materials, processes, etc. which give rise to new possibilities and that demand new designs based on a better knowledge of the user and a better interpretation of his or her needs (product and product-service systems).

A better interpretation of the needs of the user leads us to design a self-erecting truck in less than 12 hours without any need for specific tools and with most parts being interchangeable, suitable for driving over rough terrain areas and aimed at developing countries.

Or to design next-generation robots designed to work side by side with people in production lines and which, thanks to their user-centred design, support those people by taking on the more unpleasant tasks and by working closely with humans.
Or to design products with advanced materials that can result in the design of new uses, alternative or more sustainable solutions or even new products. Advanced materials such as active materials, composites, fibres and textiles, gels and foams, high-performance polymers…offer new opportunities for the redesign or the design of new products and components in sectors such as the automotive, aeronautics or rail industries.
